We're looking for a Junior IT Operations Support Engineer

Are you passionate about technology and thrive in a dynamic environment? We want to expand our team with a Junior IT Operations Support Engineer. As an integral part of our IT operations, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our clients' systems. Partly working in the EST time zone is expected for this role; however, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home. Responsibilities

  • Support Linux servers (specifically RHEL and Ubuntu), including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer, monitor, troubleshoot and optimise Windows Server environments and Active Directory, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage, maintain, and provide technical support for virtualisation and hypervisor platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Administer and maintain Veeam backup solutions to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) for efficient software deployment and patch management.
  • Configure and manage policies, deployments, and endpoints with Microsoft Intune.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services and productivity tools.
  • Manage identity and access in the Azure cloud.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with at least two of the listed technologies.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (RHCSA, LFCS, MCSA/MCSE, VCP/VCAP, AZ-104) are a plus.
